Structure your job search with THIS template
Looking for a job and not sure where to start? I made THE template you'll ever need.
Hi all! Apologies for taking a short break in the weekly newsletter, but I’m back! And I spent a few days working on THE tool to help you structure your job search — the Job Search Template (creative, I know).
A few days ago I was scratching my head at this thing called a design brief I was asked to provide, while working with some designers. I’ve never made a design brief before and had no idea how to write a good one. So of course, being the lazy person that I am, I went and found a Notion template, and simply filled out what the template asked for. Days later, the designer said: “Hey, Annie! That looks AMAZING! One of the best brief that I've seen before!”
This template made me realize how helpful templates can be to people that are new to doing something. In my job coaching sessions and career talks, I preach again and again the importance of using a job search tracker, but never really showed many folks what a good one looks like. I went ahead and created this Notion template that includes almost everything you’ll need to kickstart your job search, including sections like goal, target salaries, personal pitch, job search tracker, and a list of resources for further reading.
Part of the Job Search Template.
Without further ado, start using the Job Search Template with this link (duplicate the template to start editing). Let me know what you think, and good luck with your job search!

Hi Annie, thanks for sharing this! I love the Personal Pitch section which I think is always the toghest part.
After 10+ yrs of experience, in job interview I am currently trying to develop a story around my personal brand. I read the book "The Storyteller's screct: Talk like TED" learning from TED talks.
